Things previously Mended...
My journey into the trades began with gaining skills in landscaping, working with multiple garden design and estate management companies in Oxfordshire. This experience allowed me to develop a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for outdoor spaces. I then transitioned to working as a sub-contractor for a building and property maintenance firm, undertaking all aspects of roofing work, kitchen and bathroom repairs & revamps, plumbing repairs and house renovations.
​This comprehensive experience prepared me for my next position as the General Factotum and estate handyman for the Haddon Estate in Derbyshire, where I managed the repair and upkeep of over 100 houses. The scope of work was vast and ever changing - a real pleasure to be part of.
About me
I’m not just a handyman; I’m a dad, a partner, and a dog lover. My family, including our beloved pet Leeloo, is my greatest joy and inspiration. Balancing family life with my passion for helping others has always been a priority for me.
In addition to running Mended Handyman Services, I volunteer with PsyCare UK, a festival harm reduction and welfare service. This role allows me to support individuals in high-stress environments, ensuring they have the care and assistance they need. Volunteering with PsyCare UK has been incredibly rewarding and aligns with my lifelong commitment to helping others.
